McCann Erickson targets multi channel branding

MANCHESTER: McCann Erickson has launched McCann Talk, a specialist media arm to meet demand from clients such as Wickes for integrated marketing and promotional campaigns featuring digital, social, search and PR activity.

 It will offer a mix of disciplines including digital engagement, SEO, social media, PR, community engagement and events.

Abi Whitfield, group account director at McCann Erickson Manchester, who heads McCann Talk, says: "The way information is consumed has changed. Brands can no longer rely on consumers finding them on the channel of their choice; brands have to be ready to engage with all channels consumers use from the street to the blog.
