SHEFFIELD: Stanley's support for merchants and retailers continues with the launch of its first promotion of 2010. Building on last year's 'Helping Hand' promotions, the latest offer encourages professionals to " get talking – and buying tools", said David Osborne, Stanley's marketing director.
"When a merchant's customers purchase tools online at www.stanleyworks.co.uk/rate-it, we will send them a new pro-rated tool free as a thanks for their feedback. The more reviews Stanley receives, the greater the buzz, which will generate future promotions to drive your sales."
Feedback from Stanley's 2009 Helping Hand promotions highlighted the importance of attention-catching point-of-sale to fully support attention-grabbing deals. "That is why we have invested in this again," Mr Osborne explained.
Two merchandisers are available, packed with 10 tools that have been endorsed by fellow professionals, all with a third off. "This will provide your customers with the excuse to kit out their toolbox with the best in the business products at a third of the price."
