Independent business merchants, Mersey Building Supplies (MBS), has secured a two-year framework agreement with Heyrod Construction with a value of £1m.

The business is based on Larch Lea Industrial Estate in Anfield, Liverpool.

Manchester-based contractor Heyrod Construction is currently on site at five major schemes in Liverpool including APEX2 (a Liverpool University academic building), Hatton Gardens (a second Liverpool University site providing accommodation), The New Royal Liverpool Hospital, a new docklands Exhibition Centre and Sefton Street Block 4 (a privately owned development).

MBS are supplying Heyrod with ladders, towers and working at height equipment, sand and cement, nails, cutting saws and blades.

Carl Oates, sales director of MBS said: “This is a fantastic contract win for us. We can offer this and Heyrod have confirmed their confidence in us by committing to this partnership.”
