Wavin has appointed two new senior managers at its Chippenham and Doncaster production plants.

Alex Perry has been appointed as site operations manager at the Chippenham plant, which produces the OSMA range of waste, drainage and rainwater systems. With an MBA from Henley Management College, Mr Perry brings 12 years of experience with Cooper tyres in roles from production manager to plant manager (UK and US), and has recently held a supply chain role which included overseeing the opening of a new factory in Serbia. Prior to his role at Cooper Tyres, Alex spent eight years in the Army’s Royal Logistics Corps, having trained at Sandhurst Military Academy.

Taking the role of site operations manager at the Doncaster facility, which produces the Hep2O and HepvO range of plastic plumbing and heating systems, Paul Bend has spent 12 years with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, from engineering manager to plant manager. Mr Bend has an MSc in Operations and Supply Chain Management and Fellowship in Lean Manufacturing.

"We are delighted to welcome Alex and Paul to the Wavin team," said Wavin’s Paul MacLaurin. "Wavin will benefit greatly from their expertise and, together with the wider operational team, they will play a valuable role in our continuous improvement drive."
