Saint-Gobain PAM UK has launched Watershed Issues, a channel that will share industry expertise and enable people to discuss matters challenging the water and building industries.

Visitors to the website will be encouraged to add their thoughts through a comments section, and Saint-Gobain PAM UK hopes this will engender a lively debate whereby suggestions and ideas are pulled together in one place.

The first discussion focuses on ‘whether the water industry is at risk of stagnating if more emphasis isn’t placed on innovation’ and calls on the experience and views of the Water Research Centre, which operates in the water, waste and environmental sectors.

Future topics will surround key areas such as sustainability, UK manufacturing, building information modelling (BIM) and other important subjects.

Mark Esling, business development director at Saint-Gobain PAM UK, said: “We are really excited to be launching Watershed Issues. This gives us the opportunity to facilitate discussions surrounding the significant matters that are affecting the water and building industries.

“Not only will we all benefit from the insight of industry experts, with their views on key topics, but visitors to the site will have the ability to really get involved with the discussion via the comments section. By adding everyone’s opinions and views, we hope that this will reveal a richer and well-rounded look at each issue.”
