Security specialist Yale has appointed four new salespeople to strengthen support to its national network of trade customers.

Gemma Attiwell has been employed as business development manager, and will focus on developing relationships with new and existing customers across the independent trade market. Ms Attiwell has a strong 10-year background in working with the locksmith market, as well as various other trade customers from her previous employer Avocet Hardware.

Simon Kasperowicz has been taken on as business development manager for the North, appointed to develop the use of the Yale and UNION brands into the local authority/social housing repair and maintenance market. Simon has a wealth of experience he brings from working for Travis Perkins and Jewson over a 15-year career.

Andy Hudson has been recruited as territory manager for the South West, looking after independent hardware customers and builders’ merchants, as well as locksmiths. Mr Hudson comes with 20 years’ experience in the field, previously having worked for HG International.

In addition, Dave Hedley has been taken on as business development manager for the South, in a similar role to Mr Kasperowicz. Mr Hedley has worked in sales for 35 years, with previous brands including Wolseley UK.

“2014 is going to bring a wealth of opportunities for all our trade and locksmith customers,” said Mark Efford, Yale’s head of trade. “We have a comprehensive marketing schedule planned, incorporating full customer support for us to work together to increase security sales. This new batch of appointments is testament to the amount we will be investing in all our existing and new customers, next year and beyond.”
