F&P Wholesale has been named as the Cemco Merchant Network Lightside Distributor of the Year.
Contenders for the awards are voted for by the group of independent merchants that make up the Cemco merchant network. Companies who are shortlisted for the Lightside Distributor of the Year category are judged on their ability to provide best-in-class customer service, competitive pricing and customer relations.
F&P Wholesale excelled within the criteria required for this category, including speed of reaction to changing markets, quality of products, and improving market share and margins for merchants. The company was also acknowledged for its focus on all levels of service, which F&P Wholesale demonstrates through product range availability and its ‘One Tomorrow’ next-day delivery promise.
The Cemco Lightside Distributor of the Year award was presented to F&P Wholesale’s key account director Richard Birch at the buying group’s annual supplier conference, held at the Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicestershire on 1 and 2 May 2013.
