Dunlop Adhesives has appointed Amy Rushton as assistant brand manager to help drive awareness of the Dunlop brand and assist in the delivery of creative campaigns for the company.

Having previously worked as commercial administration manager for Dunlop Adhesives’ parent company Building Adhesives, Ms Rushton has experience in providing administrative support to the sales, marketing and executive teams at the company, in addition to regularly facilitating customer and client needs. For four of her eight years with Building Adhesives, she also worked as marketing administrator, equipping her with a wealth of industry and marketing experience to apply to her new role.

Debi Boulton, brand manager at Dunlop, said: “Dunlop Adhesives places a great emphasis on brand quality across the board, so it is essential that we have a skilled and creative team in place that’s in a position to sustain this and continue providing merchants across the UK with a quality product and brand. We have every confidence that Amy will rise to the challenge and help strengthen our brand amongst professional builders and plumbers in her new role as assistant brand manager.”

Ms Rushton said: “Having previously worked within the marketing department at Building Adhesives, I was keen to rejoin the team and expand on my skills and experience. Joining Dunlop Adhesives at this time provides me with a hugely exciting challenge. With the strong team that is in place, I’m looking forward to helping build on the already established Dunlop brand and assist in growing its presence within the merchant market.”
