LONDON: TV presenter, writer and director Nick Knowles is the host of the 2010 Builders’ Merchants Awards for Excellence.
Mr Knowles is one of Britain’s most versatile presenters and is in great demand. Over the past year he has had a full schedule with an BBC exclusive deal ranging across daytime, factual, factual entertainment and entertainment shows.
As the familiar face of DIY SOS on BBC1, now in its 12th year, Mr Knowles is also the presenter of Who Dares Wins.
He has also hosted several programmes, including Last Choir Standing and Guesstimation. In addition, he presented New Year Live with Kate Silverton on New Year's Eve aboard HMS Belfast in London.
In 2009, he co-presented the BBC reality TV series Wildest Dreams with James Honeyborne, in which novice candidates had to complete a set of challenging tasks filming wild animals in Africa.
