Caroline Bowler has been promoted to Business Development Manager for Affordable Housing at Keyline.

Bowler will work alongside Emma Ward, Business Development Director for Keyline Civils Specialists.

Bowler has been in the construction industry for over 20 years, working in the supply chain sector. She came to Keyline Civils Specialists three years ago as an Account Manager. After a year in the role, Bowler won Regional Account Manager of the Year 2017 and moved into a senior role, managing housing frameworks for the South of England.

As Business Development Manager for Affordable Housing across the whole of the UK, Bowler will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities for Keyline Civils Specialists and developing them further. The role requires technical skill and includes seeking niche sectors in the housing market to increase the company’s productivity and growth. Currently this brand-new, specialist role only employs Bowler but the team is due to expand over time. However, Bowler does work collaboratively with other teams in sub-regions and divisions.

In addition to her promotion, Bowler has been nominated for an award within the business, for upstanding family values. She was shortlisted from over 500 nominations.

She said: “Having been in this industry a long time, it is such an honour to be nominated for an award like this. Keyline Civils Specialists is great at recognising people’s skills and providing everyone with the opportunities to excel in their career, which is exactly what they have done for me.

“In the three years I have been here I have never been encouraged and supported as much as I have at Keyline Civils Specialists.”

Bowler plans to push the company further than it has ever been before within the housing market, by thinking outside the box: “We have done a great job so far at making Keyline a cut above the rest, however, it doesn’t stop there.

“We are constantly innovating and thinking about further ways to grow Keyline and their housing department. Watch this space.”
