A new Business Development Manager has joined Salamander Pumps.
Lee Dunphy will be working closely with the shower and pump manufacturer’s National Sales Manager, Adam Brand, as well as National Accounts Manager Simon Platts to help manage and maintain existing business in the North and Scotland.
Dunphy worked in sales at A E Spink merchant for 17 years, and so has a wealth of experience in building new and strengthening existing client relations.
He said that he applied to work at Salamander Pumps because of its “close knit feel”.
He added: “While in the process of searching for a new career opportunity, I got a really positive feeling from Salamander.
“Salamander has gone from strength to strength in recent years, which made me want to be a part of the company’s positive-looking future.
“I am really excited to get under the skin of this new opportunity and contribute to Salamander’s growth.”
Brand said he was delighted that Dunphy had joined the company, adding: “He has shown incredible promise in the past few weeks and we are looking forward to seeing what he can achieve in the months to come.
“We have no doubt that he will continue to help us increase sales and hit ambitious targets, and enjoy a long and fruitful career here at Salamander.”
