An eco-friendly composite decking company is the first of its kind to be invited to supply the National Buying Group.

Yorkshire-based Composite Prime’s HD Deck Dual and HD Deck XS will be available to the buying group’s members for the next two years via its appointed distributor, Taylor Maxwell.

Matt Miller from NBG member Grant and Stone, called Composite Prime’s products “innovative”, and Alex Moffat, Director at Taylor Maxwell, said that they had generated a “significant level of interest” since the deal began last month.

Bob Davis, NGB Buyer, said the NBG was “delighted” to welcome Composite Prime to its portfolio, and explained that Composite Prime was selected because it offers products with “the best raw ingredients, chosen on quality and performance – FSC 100% ‘end of use’ Oak wood floor and recycled plastic”.

Domenic Harrison, Managing Director at Composite Prime, said: “We absolutely see great potential in the NBG and the opportunities it will offer Composite Prime.

There is no doubt about it, we want to come out of this process with a national agreement to supply its group of quality merchants with both HD Deck Dual and HD Deck XS”.
