SEVENOAKS: H+H UK’s commitment to improving its environmental performance has been showcased as it moved further up the Sunday Times Green Companies list. 

The company appeared at 29th place and was 10th in the list of construction companies in the results published on 24 May.

Initiatives aimed at: improving the energy efficiency of all processes, recycling water, reducing vehicle journeys and, most ambitiously, plans to build a power generating wind turbine have all contributed to H+H’s impressive performance, said the report.

“Despite the challenging trading conditions we are determined to remain focused on environmental issues,” summarised managing director Mark Oliver, who also drews attention to the company’s certification under the Carbon Trust Standard and its long-standing commitment to ISO 14001.
