Catnic has added seven new manufacturing lines to its German factory.

The Steel construction manufacturer’s latest investment at its Sinsheim site is part of the company’s international development strategy, as its customer base across Europe continues to grow.

It follows the launch of Catnic France in 2011. Catnic also entered the roofing market in 2014, and opened a new training centre in Caerphilly, Wales last year.

The company says the new lines will enable it to improve its supply chain service for all national merchants, buying groups and DIY chains within the region.

Managing Director Christine Wilde said: “This is a significant achievement for Catnic within our international market.

”Our main focus is to drive volume growth and further strengthen the Catnic brand across Europe.

“This new investment demonstrates our commitment and we look forward to further achievements within the market.

“This is an exciting time for us.”
