An accreditation recognising a company’s commitment to supporting staff has been awarded to security systems supplier ERA.
It has received the Investors in People Gold accreditation. IIP is a standard for people management in business, with four levels: Accredited, Silver, Gold and Platinum. It is judged on three key criteria, which are leading, supporting and improving.
Nicky Purba (pictured) Human Resources Director at ERA, said that the company works to ensure its core values inform every decision it makes, and that it communicates with employees, holding regular meetings where elected staff representatives can talk to senior management.
She said: “We can see a direct correlation to business performance and Investors in People. It has enabled us to recruit high calibre personnel, which has in turn improved our productivity.
“With Investors in People running through everything we do, our approach to customers reflects the positive environment in which our team works. Our people are integral to our success and, behind every ERA product, you’ll find our people.”
