Howarth Timber & Building Supplies is hosting a star-studded Sportsman’s Dinner in support of its 2017 charity partner Cancer Research UK.

The Sportsman’s Dinner will bring together over 200 attendees including suppliers, manufacturers and guests of the company at the Manchester Marriott Victoria & Albert on 28 September for a fantastic night of fundraising and entertainment.

The company’s managing director Nick Howarth will be on hand to host the Dinner, with England cricket legend Darren Gough, award-winning comedian Gary Marshall and comedy scriptwriter Austin Knight providing the entertainment.

Commenting on the Sportsman’s Dinner, Nick said: “Our previous dinners have given our suppliers and colleagues a valuable opportunity to develop their relationships. This is essential to our ability to offer high-quality products to our customers at competitive prices, and equips our staff with the knowledge they need to provide the excellent service they have come to expect from Howarth Timber.

“What’s more, I am sure that this dinner will give our colleagues and guests the chance to contribute to our charitable efforts. We are very proud of our charitable efforts to date, which have seen us raise over £20,000 for Cancer Research UK, and I’m sure that our guests will dig deep once again for this fantastic cause.”

The Sportsman’s Dinner is part of the lead-up to Howarth Timber’s third annual Trade Day Bonanza, which takes place on 10 November, 2017 at the Leeds United Conference Centre at Elland Road, Leeds.
