A golf day at The Bristol Golf Club, organised by Kellaway Building Supplies, has raised £1,500 for a local children's hospice.
Staff, suppliers and 80 customers enjoyed the day, which included a round of golf before a well-deserved meal, raffle and auction in aid of the Children's Hospice South West.
The raffle was fantastically supported by suppliers providing a number of notable prizes including tickets to the British Open and, most notably, a signed, framed Barcelona Football shirt.
Children's Hospice South West has been Kellaway's chosen charity since September 2016 and the company is now nearing its original £10,000 fundraising target.
Purchasing Director Bob Fleetwood said: "We are delighted at the amount raised during the golf day for Children's Hospice South West; it is a very worthy cause that do valuable work with families in desperate situations. Thank you to everyone who supported the day and the generosity of our suppliers and customers is always greatly appreciated."
