Voting has officially opened in the search to find Britain’s Best Cafe 2017 and this year’s hopeful entrants are calling on the trade and the public to support them in their quest to win the coveted title.

Organised by SIG Roofing and supported by its 120 plus branches, so far more than 500 cafes have signed up and the number continues to rise as the competition heats up.

Over the next few months, SIG Roofing will be doing all it can to help cafes across the UK in their bid to win the coveted title of Britain’s Best Cafe, with the branches supporting their local cafes and encouraging their customers and members of the local community to come in and place their votes.

Cafes and SIG Roofing are doing all that they can to secure as many votes as possible, both locally and through an extensive campaign to generate coverage in local media. And the competition is starting to heat up already. Cafes are drumming up all the votes they can from their loyal customers and catching them in action using their Britain’s Best Cafe selfie frames. Have a look on social media to see some of their great selfies or why not pop into your local cafe or SIG Roofing branch and get involved.

SIG Roofing Marketing Manager Janine Brady is looking forward to supporting this year’s cafes and welcomes the opportunity to strengthen the links between SIG Roofing’s customers and the cafes that make a positive difference to their working day.

She said: “Service with a smile and a warm welcome is key to the long-standing relationships we’ve developed with our customers in branch - something they also experience when they visit their favourite local cafe. Many of our customers visit the same cafe as part of their daily schedule during their working lives, which is why our branches are making every effort to support their local cafes and their own customers’ favourites.”

Britain’s Best Cafe is set to be a highly popular competition among the public again this year and when voting closes at the end of September, 14 regional winners will be invited to attend a presentation lunch in London, where the national titleholder will be announced and collect their prize of a holiday to the Caribbean island of Cuba.

Every vote counts and anyone wishing to vote for their local favourite cafe can visit their nearest SIG Roofing branch or vote online at www.britainsbestcafe.co.uk.
