Q4 Bathrooms expansion with southern distribution centre
Published:  25 April, 2017

Bathroom distributor Q4 Bathrooms has announced its ongoing expansion with the opening of a second distribution centre in Aylesbury.

After moving to larger premises two years ago, Q4 Bathrooms has seen increases in orders nationwide, creating the need for more distribution and logistics space, and to retain its commitment of next day delivery.

“During 2016 we saw a raise in new customers, particularly further south and have a high customer expectation to ensure our products are delivered the very next day. Opening a second distribution centre in Aylesbury demonstrates our commitment to customers in the south, and ensures they receive the same level of customer service that we have been providing to the rest of the country for the last 30 years.” said managing director, Richard Parker.

One of the unique selling points Q4 Bathrooms prides itself on is its 98% completed order rating on deliveries leaving the warehouse. To achieve this, Q4's logistics team ensures deliveries are checked three times before its fleet of vans leave. Any delivery heading to the south of England, will gain an extra check point as they reach the distribution centre in Aylesbury.

Mr Parker continued: “Ensuring our customers receive the orders they've placed, on the day they expect is extremely important to all of our team members. Q4 Bathrooms pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, and adding an additional distribution centre will only add to that experience.”

The southern distribution centre is the company's most recent expansion and opens on 1 May 2017, adding to the 60,000 sq feet of warehousing Q4 Bathrooms already utilises.
