Huws Gray’s head office team runs for the UK Sepsis Trust

The Huws Gray head office team successfully completed the Liverpool Half Marathon, raising over £450 for the UK Sepsis Trust.

The dedicated team included three employees from the company’s head office based in Llangefni, Anglesey. Lee Williams, Iwan Vaughan Jones and Steven Robert Jones conquered the 13.1 miles challenge on 2 April.

Commenting on the team’s achievement, Mr Jones, said: “We’re delighted we can support Huws Gray’s charity partner - the UK Sepsis Trust. The Liverpool Half Marathon was tough but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. At times we were wondering what we had let ourselves in for, but we got through it in the end with all of us crossing the finishing line in good times.

“We would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us and helped us raise essential funds for this fantastic cause.”

This was the first fundraising event in the Huws Gray calendar. The builders’ merchant has got plenty more events lined up throughout the year, including open days, zip-wire and other running events to help raise awareness and raise essential funds for the UK Sepsis Trust.
