This year's Parker Building Supplies Charity Golf Day, trade morning and celebratory dinner, has broken all records and raised a fantastic £25,000 in aid of its partner charity Teenage Cancer Trust.

The event, which was held at the East Sussex National Golf resort on 15 July, saw 300 people comprising staff, management, suppliers, customers and their guests, come together to enjoy a sunny day and a fun packed evening.

At last year's Golf Day, Parker Building Supplies donated a staggering £15,000 to Teenage Cancer Trust. To have beaten that record with proceeds totalling £25,000, and in the process, bringing Parkers' overall donation over the past few years to over £100,000 is an outstanding achievement.

The day teed off with a trade morning offering customers the opportunity to benefit from a number of exclusive special offers, followed by team, individual, the longest drive and nearest to the pin competitions on the resort's two championship golf courses with 43 fourballs taking part.

The evening event, which included a three-course meal and a charity auction, gave the golfers and guests the perfect opportunity to network with plenty of laughs.

The event was presented by Heart FM breakfast presenter Jack the Lad and former Brighton defender Guy Butters.
