Following on from a rebrand earlier this year, HiB has announced that it will be moving its Tamworth HQ to bigger premises to keep up with the businesses’ rapid rate of growth.

The bathroom brand has just signed a new 15-year lease on an 85,000 sq ft occupancy at the Birch Coppice site in Tamworth, where it currently resides, with IM Properties. The pre-let, which is due for completion in Q3 next year, will see HiB’s distribution centre almost double in size.

This latest move follows in HiB’s continual expansion over the past year. Having rebranded in January, the business has not only expanded its core portfolio, but is preparing to relaunch its newly rebranded furniture range, HiB Novum, to include three new additional ranges.

Robert Ginsberg, managing director at HiB, said: “It’s a great situation to be in but, the reality is, the business is growing at such a rapid rate that we are beginning to outgrow the Birch Coppice site which we originally moved into in 2008.

“Having only expanded the warehouse and offices last year to meet up with demand, we are already nearly up to capacity, so it seemed the natural progression to move to a bigger facility.

This will enable us to stock more products, optimise delivery efficiencies and ensure we maintain customer service excellence

At the same time we have also just extended our offices in London to cater for further growth – it really is an exciting time for us.”
