PPG continues to strengthen its network after announcing the purchase of Peffer Paints in Scotland.
The agreement sees Peffer’s four stores across Edinburgh, Livingston and Galashiels, added to the Johnstone’s national store network, which will be over 200 by the end of 2016.
Vincent O’Sullivan, sales director of PPG UK and Ireland, welcomed the acquisition and said: “As a company we are always looking for opportunities to extend our distribution and our branch network, and we firmly believe that Peffer Paints is a perfect fit for us. We’re delighted to be growing our presence in Edinburgh. We’re especially looking forward to welcoming our new colleagues of Peffer Paints into our business because their knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we look to continue our growth.”
Peffer’s existing customers will continue to benefit from a great product selection and excellent customer service, but now will also have access to the benefits and distribution delivered through their national network of Johnstone’s decorating centres. This will include popular promotional activities such as Bonanza Sale events and the Big Red Rewards loyalty programme, supported by extensive TV and radio advertising.
