Andrew Keating, marketing director for Baxi, has been appointed the newest chair of the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC).
The role, which begins this month, will see Mr Keating preside over key industry meetings, offering impartial and expert guidance on all topical issues.
Stewart Clements, director, HHIC, said: “I am delighted that Andrew Keating has been nominated as chair. His experience within the industry makes him an ideal choice for the position. Andrew brings significant insight and vital experience to the role. I look forward to working with him as we embark on a challenging time for the heating and hot water industry.”
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Keating, said: ‘It’s a real honour to have been appointed as chair of such an important industry organisation. Both Baxi and I have been members of the HHIC for many years, and the work it does for its members has always been incredibly important, encouraging best practice and innovative ways of working across our sector.
“My appointment also demonstrates Baxi’s commitment to improving industry standards. I look forward to taking up my position as chair, and helping to address the opportunities and challenges faced by plumbing and heating.”
