Best known for its advanced ideas in roof window design, Keylite has applied its innovative thinking to a new rewards promotion, which benefits not only the installer but also the merchant.

Commenting on the new #Switched2 Rewards promotion, John Duffin, managing director at Keylite, said: “We talked to a lot of merchants before planning our 2016 promotion and it was clear that in the past many installer promotions have left merchants feeling left out of the loop and unsure of the benefit to their business. Those promotions typically awarded the installer directly with cash or vouchers for other retail treats. We digested this feedback and came up with a rewards scheme for the installer that will also benefit the merchant and keep them central in the process.

“Our scheme entitles installers to a reward on every Keylite roof window they buy over a six month period until the end of September 2016. The vouchers they receive will be valid for use to spend on new goods at the same merchant who sold them the window. Installers will receive £5 for every standard window and up to £15 if they buy electric versions. The full spend in our promotion will be funnelled back into merchant’s tills.”

Keylite is reporting a positive reaction to the promotion from merchants and are confident that it will be an attractive hook for installers who regularly buy roof windows and could collect quite a significant rewards value over the six months of the promotion.

“This is our biggest ever promotion and we will be supporting it with trade press and radio advertising, plus our digital activity and a bespoke website to run the claims process,” said Mr Duffin. “However, it is the close co-operation between manufacturers and merchants that makes any initiative successful and in this case that means working together with merchants, engaging with installers at the counter to introduce them to the great deals that Keylite offer.”

The #Switched2 Rewards promotion will run for six months from April until the end of September 2016.
