Commercial law firm Myerson Solicitors LLP has advised Cheshire Concrete Products on its sale of Cornerstones Building and Landscaping Products to Huws Gray.

Cornerstones Building and Landscaping Products is a leading building and landscaping supplier in St. Helens, Merseyside.

The Cheshire Concrete group was founded in 2006, following a spin out from Pochin by Paul Blanchard and Jim Woodyer. In recent years, it has turned over more than £10m per year. The company has now decided to concentrate on its concrete manufacturing business and currently supplies a number of builders’ merchants throughout Wales and the North West with high-quality concrete products.

Shaun Gray, managing director at Cheshire Concrete Products, said: “Once again, Akeel Latif and his team at Myerson have provided a fantastic service assisting us with our sale. By focusing on our core business, while at the same time building long lasting business relationships with our customers and merchants, we can deliver a more efficient and high-quality service in Wales and the North West. We look forward to working with Myerson Solicitors as we continue to develop our brand, ethos and national presence.”

Scott Sands, a corporate commercial partner at Myerson, added: “The sale of Cornerstones is a fantastic step for all three companies and will allow Cheshire Concrete Products to provide a customer focused manufacturing service built around its core values.”
