Ridgeons recently welcomed four employees to its esteemed ‘25 Club’ in recognition of their continued service.

In an annual dinner held at Chesterford Research Park, near Cambridge, the new additions joined 185 existing members to celebrate both 25 and 35 years’ of service.

The latest ’25 Club’ members came together from a number of different branches and include:

  • James Norton – stock auditor, inventory department at Mildenhall
  • Gary Good – product group manager, Pampsiford
  • Heather Crick – admin assistant, March
  • Simon Taylor – specialist sales at Nuffield Road.

Existing members, Alan Stebbings, Peter Sievewright, Paul Middleton, Andy Peach and Shaun Allgood, all received congratulations for their 35 years’ of service. Gary Stroud also received a special mention for his nine years as treasurer of the Club, as well as Ken Miller who has been chairman for the past year.

Each member received a personal welcome to the ‘25 Club’, from event host Gordon Ridgeon, before family director Amanda Smith, group deputy chairman Johnnie Sam and the newly appointed president of the Club Rachel Anderson, presented each with an inscribed pen and a framed special service certificate.

Established in 1958, the ‘25 Club’ recognises the achievements of all Ridgeons employees - past, present, full-time and part-time who have accomplished over 25 years’ service or more. The principle objectives of the Club are to meet and promote interests in the general welfare of all members; foster goodwill, keep in touch with retired employees and their families while also organising a social calendar.
