Branches of RGB Building Supplies are holding Prostate Cancer UK #Shirt2Work charity breakfast mornings on 30 October.

As well as offering breakfast between 8am and 12pm, in return for a £2 donation, staff will be donning the shirt of their favourite football or rugby team - and they are challenging those that attend to do the same.

Additionally, there will be charity raffles to boost the fundraising total with the chance to win some great prizes.

Prostate Cancer UK is the official charity partner of The Football League. The #Shirt2Work campaign aims to raise both awareness and funds to enable the charity to continue its research, and to provide support for the men and their families affected by the disease.

Keith Harris, product and marketing manager at RGB Building Supplies, said: “Our charity events are always extremely well supported by our customers and we’re certain that our #Shirt2Work breakfast morning will be no different.

“Prostate Cancer UK is our charity of the year and we’re delighted to be raising money to help them continue with their fantastic work. We look forward to welcoming everyone along to our branches in their football or rugby shirts and, in advance, we would like to thank our customers for their generous donations.”

James Beeby, director of fundraising at Prostate Cancer UK, said: “It’s brilliant to see RGB Building Supplies getting their kit on to help Prostate Cancer UK tackle one of the biggest killers in men.

“By wearing football or rugby shirts on #Shirt2Work morning, staff and customers are not only showing their support to the 330,000 men living with prostate cancer in the UK, but also helping to raise much needed money. We thank RGB and wish them success for the day.”

The #Shirt2Work breakfast mornings in aid of Prostate Cancer UK are taking place at RGB’s Barnstaple, Crediton, Exeter, Exmouth, Porthleven, Wiveliscombe, Holsworthy and Tiverton branches.
