CRASH hosted its Windsor Half Marathon Awards Ceremony at the Saint-Gobain Innovation Centre in London on 19 October.

Supported by Saint-Gobain and British Gypsum, the event was a chance for CRASH to say thank you to its Patrons for their continued support of the event and to present awards to some of the runners.

The Half Marathon, which took place in the grounds of Windsor Castle on 27 September, 2015, raised more than £25,000 for homelessness across the UK. More than 90 runners took part in the event.

The awards winners were as follows:

  • Top Fundraising Team - British Gypsum
  • Top Individual Fundraiser - Clare Hartley-Marjoram from Sir Robert McAlpine
  • Fastest CRASH Male Runner - Justin Reid-Simms from Saint Gobain Weber, who finished in an impressive personal best time of 1:25:55Fastest CRASH Female Runner - Kirstie Meeten from Saint Gobain Weber
  • Top Construction Industry Male Team - William Rogers-Tizard, Thomas Fennell, Jack Vanzwieten and Michael Brown from Price & Myers
  • Top Construction Industry Female Team - Sarah Pellereau, Premma Makanji, Lucy Newport and Eleanor Ball from Price & Myers
  • CRASH Challenge winners - William Rogers-Tizard, Thomas Fennell, Jack Vanzwieten, Michael Brown, Timothy Pattinson, Paul Toplis, Sarah Pellereau and David Lockett from Price & Myers.

Speaking at the event, CRASH's Jenny Vaidya thanked Patron companies Imtech and AECOM, who sponsored the marquee and refreshments on the day. She also thanked Carillion, 8Build, Hewden, Areen Design, and Dickies Store for their generous donations towards the runners' bags, and Builders' Merchants News for their invaluable support as media partner.

Next year's 34th Windsor Half Marathon will take place on 25 September, with a new start time of 10am. Registration will open in November this year. Anyone who is interested in participating, please contact Ms Vaidya on fundraising@crash.org.uk.
