City Plumbing Supplies (CPS) has announced the 11 customers who qualified from initial heats to reach the Portugal final of the company's golf tournament, a contest that aims to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Each customer won a much coveted spot in the final tournament, due to take place in Portugal on 3 October, 2015.

The group will take to the vast greens of the Victoria Course in Vilamoura, Portugal and face an 18-hole tournament, as well as a ‘Beat the Pro’ session, in the hope of being crowned the overall champion.

As well as celebrating the golfing achievements of its customers, CPS will also be aiming to build on the £13,800 already donated during the regional rounds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Sam Gould at Leeva Plumbing and Heating, who is one of the lucky golfers heading to the final, said: “I’m thrilled to have made it to through the preliminary round while raising money for such a good cause along the way. I’m looking forward to heading to Portugal and having a fabulous time, whether I win or not.”

Managing director of City Plumbing Supplies, John Frost, added: “This is a fantastic way to spend time with our customers and key suppliers, while continuing to support the important and worthwhile work of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

"I’m sure the funds from this event will have a significant impact on our mission to raise a total of one million pounds since our support for Teenage Cancer Trust began in 2012,' by the end of the year.”
