One of Rudridge’s suppliers valiantly took on and completed the recent Monster Race in Oxfordshire.

Andy Zeglovskis from Hanson Cement took part in this challenge along with friends, forming team ‘Nuff Said’ and collectively raised over £1,000 for the Chestnut Tree House Hospice.

This tough event included over 25 obstacles such as the ‘Bog of Eternal Stench’, ‘Barbed Wire Crawl’, and ‘Monsters Marsh’, as well as the standard giant climbing walls and freezing streams to run through.

Mr Zeglovskis said: “The Monster Race was a lot harder than I thought it would be, and trust me, I was expecting it to be tough. However, the team pulled together and made a valiant effort to complete it. We’re all really pleased that we raised a good amount for the hospice and would like to say thank you to Rudridge and all of our other sponsors.”

Darren Price, business development manager at Rudridge, added: “When we heard about Andy taking on the Monster Race challenge we thought he was brave and bonkers, and were more than happy to sponsor him. We’d like to say a big ‘well done’ to him and his team for completing the race and raising such an honourable figure for the charity.”
