Merchants and their suppliers have the chance to spend a day together blasting clay pigeons out of the sky at the inaugural Bob Beaver Memorial Charity Shoot on Wednesday July 15, 2015.

Named after the late Bob Beaver, who was the owner of Shropshire Building Supplies, former president of the Builders Merchants Federation, board member of the NMBS, and liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Builders Merchants, the event is open to all participants in the merchant business - manufacturers, distributors and merchants.

The venue is the Royal Berkshire Shooting School, near Reading, and the day starts with bacon sandwiches at 9.30am, and ends at 4pm with the results and prize presentations. There will be plenty of networking and socialising opportunities available throughout the day.

Heavyweight sponsors signed up so far include Akzo Nobel, Crystal Direct, Dickies, IKO, Knauf Insulation, Makita, NMBS and Toolbank.

A single place costs just £330, and sponsorship packages are from £3,000. To book a place, or to find out more about sponsorship, contact Michael Dark on 01582 621121 or email mda.mail@virgin.net.
