Polypipe Ventilation has acquired the good will and assets of Ferrob - now trading as a new company called Ferrob Ventilation.

A specialist ventilation provider with a strong presence in the social housing sector, Polypipe’s backing now provides Ferrob Ventilation with the opportunity to deliver a premium level of customer service and to invest in ambitious future growth initiatives.

Operating in many of Polypipe’s target markets, Ferrob Ventilation designs and manufactures a wide range of residential ventilation products. The company's product offering ranges from intelligent bathroom and kitchen axial and centrifugal fans, through to central extract and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery systems.

The company, based near Newbury, Berkshire, has built a strong reputation with Local Authorities and Housing Associations throughout the UK, which made it of particular interest to Polypipe.

Polypipe Ventilation’s managing director Neil Tilsley said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Ferrob, which is continuing to operate as a standalone entity but with Polypipe’s full backing. Our short-term focus is on helping the business provide excellent levels of customer service to existing and new customers, to help grow the business significantly over the coming years. It provides us with an opportunity to build upon the Ferrob brand and to further strengthen our position in the Local Authority and Housing Association markets.”

Mr Tilsley continued: “This acquisition will also widen Polypipe's residential ventilation offering, alongside our Domus duct systems and Silavent mechanical extract appliances. Polypipe Ventilation has enjoyed significant growth in recent years and the addition of Ferrob Ventilation will help us to continue this expansion over the next few years.”
