‘People, Purpose & Passion’ is the theme of BMF Members’ Day 2015, which will take place on 16 and 17 September at Carden Park in Cheshire.

Carden Park Golf Resort and Spa, situated in 1,000 acres of Cheshire countryside, is just 20 minutes from Chester and served by excellent road and rail links. The well-appointed hotel features two championship golf courses and an outdoor pursuits centre, as well as its own vineyard and conference facilities. All activities over the two days will take place on-site.

The Federation is now committed to revolve the annual event between venues in the north, south and midlands to better serve members in all parts of the country.

In addition to the BMF’s AGM, Members’ Day combines informal networking opportunities, a black-tie awards dinner, and informative business sessions with thought-provoking guest speakers.

The BMF has invited Carden Park’s owner, Steve Morgan, to give the keynote address. In the building materials sector Mr Morgan is better known as the founder and chairman of Redrow. Described on Wikipedia as a businessman, philanthropist and chairman of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, he is clearly a man of both purpose and passion.

For the second year running ACO will be the headline sponsor, while Monument Tools will sponsor the golf tournament for a third successive year.

John Newcomb, managing director of BMF, said: “Members’ Day continues to grow in its scope, scale and attendance, and I am delighted that both ACO and Monument Tools see the value in their continued support. We are constantly looking at ways to improve the event and we are looking forward to welcoming even more members in 2015.”
