Elliotts, the Hampshire-based independent builders’ merchant, has bolstered its team ahead of ambitious plans to grow its joinery turnover by £4m.

The company has appointed Sally Fisher as joinery product manager. She will be responsible for joinery sales for the entire Elliotts group, which has nine builders’ merchant branches across the county. Her day-to-day role will see her research and advise on the latest products available on the market to ensure customers have access to the very best equipment and resources. In line with the company’s ethos of going the extra mile she will also help customers with complex orders, giving advice and support.

Tom Elliott, managing director, said: “Our reputation, stability and wide range of products has helped us develop a thriving joinery division over the last 172 years. However, there is so much more potential and we know that by adding Sally’s expertise we will be able to provide even more added value to our customers, along with the very best range of cutting-edge products that are constantly being developed.”

Ms Fisher, who has significant experience working in joinery within builders’ merchants, added: “I’m very much looking forward to being a part of Elliotts, which has such a strong heritage and reputation in Hampshire. Thanks to developments in manufacturing and technology, joinery products are constantly evolving and I plan to make sure Elliotts’ customers are right at the forefront of those changes.”
