“Healthy Eating Workplace of the Year” crowned

A food and drink awards ceremony has recognised the workplace catering at Travis Perkins.

The builders’ merchant won Healthy Eating Workplace of the Year in the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards 2018/19.

The award was presented at a glittering Awards Dinner staged at Northampton Royal & Derngate on 7 November.

More than 500 guests gathered to hear the 2018/19 results and watch former Masterchef winner Thomasina Miers present the awards.

Now in its tenth year, this competition celebrates all that is great about local produce and drink, recognising excellence within the county’s dining venues and rewarding those who work so hard within the culinary sector.
